Tell the Next Generation
Our Sustained Giving Stewardship Emphasis

Wow! What a great turnout for our two Commitment Dinners held in October and what a blessing they turned out to be! Many thanks to everyone who participated! Thank you to our Follow-Up Committee who diligently called on people to give everyone the opportunity to pledge. A special thank you to Ken & Bobbie Denmark who are heading up the Fulfillment phase (the next 3 years) of our Tell the Next Generation campaign. We pray God’s guidance and wisdom as they keep track of all the giving along with their committee.
On Sunday, November 4th we dedicated those commitments as a sign that we commit ourselves to the goals of Tell the Next Generation. Then on November 11th we started our giving. Our Sustained Giving for the effort takes place over the next 156 weeks. We seek God’s strength that all our people “bring to completion” their giving so that Bethel might accomplish her ministry over the next years. We also pray that commit and dedicate ourselves to the extra energy, time, and effort required in reaching out to the neighborhoods around FM158. Ir will take all of us together if we are truly going to tell the next generation.

We have received donations from those who pledged and those who did not pledge. To God be the Glory.
Building Committee Update
The building committee and members of Church Council have met with Mr. Block from Lutheran Church Extension Fund for guidance on our financial situation and what we can afford to build. They were very encouraged by his analysis. Soon we will be voting on the Design Development phase and which Phase I we would like to pursue.
